My team and I are working with a well-respected Telecommunication Company that's looking to add a Regional Sales Manager to their team of industry professionals! Must be a knowledgeable, organized, and detail-oriented candidate that takes pride in good customer service and builds relationships with customers and the team.
Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities
Manages a regional enterprise sales team of Account Executives, Sr. Account Executives, and Strategic Account Managers
Owns
the team number and provides accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts
Recruits top sales talent and evaluates effectiveness of current sales team members
Trains sales team in solutions selling methodology
Facilitates building relationships with Enterprise customers in the assigned region
Recommends products or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential
Defines territory within the region and acts as an escalation point for sales team and customers
Inspires team through effective coaching
Keeps goals and performance management front and center with the team
Advocates all internal programs and strategies defined by executive leadership
Job Knowledge
Sales leadership experience
Works closely with Marketing and Inside Sales on lead generation programs
Proven planning skills with demonstrated ability to identify resource requirements, plan appropriately for problems, and to lobby and rally management and external organizations for support
Superior customer care, entrepreneurial attitude, and ownership of target accounts in the region
Professional demeanor and poise, with the tenacity and perseverance to overcome complex challenges and assist a team in meeting those challenges
Strong communications skills - verbal and written; heavy prospecting requirement
Self-Starter
Telecommunications or communications networking experience with emphasis on Ethernet, Internet, UCaaS, Cloud, WAN, dark fiber, and Datacenter.
Experience/Education
Recent Sales Management Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a telecommunications sales environment
Ability to recruit and develop a professional sales force in a minimum period
Successful sales track record in Enterprise vertical markets and/or strategic accounts
Must have a proven track record of building and executing sales strategies to penetrate, close, and manage business in accounts
Microsoft Office experience
Salesforce CRM
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
