Profile

PerfectLaw® Software, the leader in All-in-One® Software for Back Office (time, billing and accounting and management reporting) and Front Office Case Management (docket, calendar, document management, document assembly, case/matter management) for law firms, is seeking experienced, highly motivated Account Managers to be based in our Miami office. The successful candidates will be expected to sell at high levels as well as establish and develop business relationships with new accounts nationwide. Additionally, they must be able to analyze client requirements as well as uncover, pursue and develop business opportunities in the legal marketplace throughout the sales cycle.
Experience in the legal software marketplace is a definite plus!
Qualifications:
Three to five years direct sales experience in the legal software marketplace is mandatory
Professional selling skills
Demonstrated skills in account development and territory management
Previous experience selling and negotiating software contracts
Knowledge of advanced software technologies
Must be able to manage multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously while ensuring completion of projects
Skills/Attributes:
Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to professionally communicate effectively both verbally and written
Ability to prepare and provide presentations and product demonstrations to technical and non-technical audiences at senior levels
Ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage one’s own time
Ability to effectively negotiate
Ability to analyze complex situations or problems and to exercise judgment and initiative when determining appropriate solution or course of action
Interaction with clients and prospects is an important characteristic of the job - diplomacy, understanding, ‘business’ common sense decision-making, persuasiveness, follow-up and negotiation skills are required during these interactions.
