This role is responsible for facilitating and implementing the sales process with selected Strategic Accounts and aiming to establish a sustainable business relationship, while coordinating the support team that will interact with each of the selected accounts. This role for Southern Saskatchewan will use a value-based approach to promote the entire Corteva portfolio of seed and crop protection product lines. \r\n\t\r\n\t\tWhat You'll Do:\r\n\t\r\n\t\tCustomer Face Time/Direct Grower Activities:\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tConducting Business Analysis and Needs Assessment of Assigned Accounts\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tExecuting Comprehensive Call Strategy\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tDelivering or Facilitating Advanced Agronomy\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCommunicating Product Knowledge\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tNegotiating & Coordinating Value Proposition Delivery\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tMeet assigned unit and revenue targets\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\tInternal Planning/Cross Functional Coordination:\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tDevelop Value Proposition To Assist Growers To Achieve Higher Productivity\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tLead the Coordination of the Support Team To Deliver On Business Needs Analysis\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCoordinate Customer Activities To Provide Support & Strengthen Relationship\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\tManage Invoice & Customer Service Delivery:\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tChampion the Invoice Process to All Assigned Accounts\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCoordinate with key stakeholders to execute ordering, supply and delivery of all customer invoicing\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\tStrategic Account Coverage:\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tResponsible for managing a list of 20-25 Strategic Accounts stretching across company defined Sales Areas\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAdditional Management Functions\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tUnderstand customer needs and provide feedback to the organization on product performance, program effectiveness, and competitive activity. Suggest improvements or alternative tactics to help achieve commercial area and territory goals.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tContinue to develop professionally by remaining current with new technologies, management innovations, and sales management developments.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tDecision making responsibilities with the ability to provide solutions to customers within the parameters of established policies and procedures and to maximize customer satisfaction.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tAbility to make strategic decisions regarding sales and territory management (selection, transitions, etc.) that will have an impact to the results and outcomes of future sales and performance in a specific sales geography.\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tThe size of responsibility with this position will vary dependent on geography and current business volume of an assigned grower contact list. \r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\t \r\n\t\r\n\t\tQualifications\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\tEducation: \r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tBachelor's degree in Agronomy, Business, Marketing required, will consider other degrees with related field sales experience. \r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\tWhat Skills You Need:\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\t10 years of Ag sales or field agronomy experience, managing and coaching individuals.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\tWhat Makes You Stand Out:\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDemonstrated knowledge of:\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tSelling methodology and technique\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCompany products and services\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tUnderstanding and knowledge of marketing principles, tools and techniques\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCrop protection product offerings that are utilized in primary crop markets \r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCompetitive product/service offerings; local agricultural markets; value chain and crop production practices\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tEnvironmental, regulatory, and stewardship requirements for the various technology products\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tCompany policies and procedures\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDemonstrated skills in:\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tSelling, negotiating, influencing, conflict resolution, handling objections and coaching\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tUsing computer hardware software/intranet to generate reports, territory plans, inventory data, and to complete administrative duties\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDemonstrated ability to:\r\n\t\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tBuild/maintain strong relationships with key strategic customers, people of key industry/market influence, and internal partners and teammates\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tWork effectively within a team environment\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tLead and influence teams/projects and coach individuals in accomplishing defined objectives/goals\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tUnderstands the needs and values of partners and customers and to develop solutions to satisfy/retain\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tGet results by taking initiative, overcoming obstacles & finding creative solutions\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tWork independently with minimum supervision and operate within budget\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\tWork in and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\tADDITIONAL INFORMATION\r\n\t\r\n\t\tOvernight Travel: This position requires extensive travel, some of which will be overnight.
