P OSITION PROFILE:
KnollStudio, Muuto, and Knoll Office are all prominent divisions within Knoll, a global office furnishings manufacturer committed to design excellence. The Ancillary Sales Force is recognized for their expertise in furniture innovation and classic modern furniture design to the Architecture and Design Community, the network of Knoll dealers, Knoll Space retailers, and potential end users within an assigned territory. This sales representative works alongside their regional team to inspire modern interiors with Knoll’s wide array of ancillary products from multiple brands, KnollStudio, Muuto and Rockwell Unscripted.
This position is expected to achieve the annual sales objective for the assigned territory by securing specifications for both day to day business as well as project business. This rep will be expected to maintain their own clients, as well as collaborate with other sellers in their region, to impact the most specifications as possible within the territory.
The Ancillary Sales Representative will be expected to understand furniture design, upholstery, finishes and simple construction details. They should also be able to effectively communicate and present all of these important elements to their customers and team members.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts
Drive sales through product and workplace knowledge.
Become a trusted resource within the region
Develop superior relationships with customers
Successfully manage and overcome customer objections
Update customer interaction in Knoll’s CRM (Salesforce)
Always maintain an appropriate level of sales activity by conducting a minimum number of sales appointments per week as designated by the Regional Leader
Monitor market conditions, product innovations and competitors’ products, prices and sales
Willingness to create a credible amount of leads, opportunities, and client contact database within Knoll established CRM
Candidate should have familiarity with open line ancillary brands and price points that are specified in their market, and be able to competitively and consultatively sell KnollStudio, Rockwell and Muuto against those brands.

Required Experience
BA or BS in either: Interior Design, Marketing, or Business
Three to five years selling experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
