Hybrid:
This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired.




This position requires an employee to be onsite1-4 x per year.
The Regional Manager, Digital Field Sales is responsible for leading a regional dealer field team comprised of GM and Contract employees in the launch and execution of Digital Business Services dealer initiatives that drive profitability and growth within the new vehicle, preowned and service channels. You will be responsible for analyzing the performance of the team and developing strategies to grow subscription performance within your assigned region. The position requires critical thinking and the ability to encourage, empower and develop your team while prioritizing multiple tasks and developing strong business relationships within our GM dealer and field network.


Responsibilities Include:
Broaden awareness, drive customer acquisition and revenue generation for GM's software and subscription business, including OnStar, Connected Services and Guardian with GMs new, preowned, and service channels.
Lead the field team to exceed dealer performance objectives; set the strategic direction for your region, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
Educate, train, and encourage dealers to promote new products and build world class experiences that drive dealer profitability.
Launch sales and marketing initiatives through the field team execution of dealer and sales consultant training, dealership processes and program awareness.
Connect with cross-functional GM regional field teams to support joint initiatives and programs.
Partner with contract staffing agency to hire, recruit and develop strong field team talent.
Ensure timely remediation of customer, dealer, and partner issues.
Effectively lead all available resources including headcount, promotional budgets, and field team travel.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
10 years of experience serving as an area or regional manager in the automotive industry, transportation and logistics, retail sales, etc.
Previous experience contacting dealers a plus but not required
Experience working in the digital and/or technology space strongly desired
Positive relationship building skills including the ability to relate constructively/present to all levels of the organization
Ability to lead a distributed, remote, and work-from-home field team in the attainment of aggressive performance goals
Self-starting personality with the ability to think strategically, problem solve and develop creative solutions
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to build engaging presentations and leverage Excel to manipulate and synthesize data while making data driven decisions
Proven track record to think strategically, develop and implement sales plans
Flexibility to adapt in an environment of changing focus and goals; must be comfortable working in an often-ambiguous environment
Proven track record to balance and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to write effective business communications

Four-Year Accredited College Degree
Prior active military service and combined experience will be considered
