Sales EngineerThe Sales Engineer/ Applications Engineer will help support the growth and business demands! Our client is a pump system manufacturer for the commercial market for hotels and high rise buildings. The primary function is to generate sales, and support the engineering, contractor and representative community. Primary Tasks:Assist Engineers, Contractors or Representatives with the following: quotes, submittals, selections, drawings and budgets.Putting all plans together to incorporate in the Bill of Materials (BOM)Interpret quotes and pricing for custom purchase orders to begin constructionUse SolidWorks and CAD to supply both 2D and 3D design information to engineers and contractors. (This person will also support drawing backlogs as needed)Responsible for keeping a detailed account for all submittals, and email conversations to be kept in each individual job file or archived in e-mail folders.Ability to support and verify design information for released systemsOrders made shall be written up and given to Production Manager for execution and releaseMust be quick with response time for emails or phone calls with both engineers, contractors or representativesTroubleshoot systems over the phone and occasionally in the field (Once a quarter at most)Generate new customers and maintain relationships with current customersBecome an expert over time with booster systems, VC Systems products, and component capabilities and specifications.
