Overview:
As a Client Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities through individual ownership and coordinated marketing support activities with inside sales teams, field sales teams, and technology teams. A Client Executive uses consultative selling tactics to educate customers on the application of current IT technology and professional services using various products and services, call on and close customers, as well as research, uncover, understand and analyze agency missions, budgets, priorities, and programs. In addition, you will maintain a healthy and positive relationship with new and future customers in order to facilitate future sales and provide additional inside sales support to manage accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and grow relationships with key decision-makers within a designated account territory.
Understand and communicate UNICOMs value proposition and service offerings.
Implement a sales strategy to promote UNICOMs solution capabilities and accurately forecast for new business.
Assist other departments in managing the sales-related details required to ensure on-time implementation of products and services.
Customize and deliver presentations to prospective customers demonstrating UNICOMs products, services, and value.
Work closely with Inside Sales Representative to identify and uncover qualified opportunities.
Prepare and prioritize sales planning to meet quota.
Build and maintain the CRM Customer Database including tracking sales opportunities.
Build strong relationships with UNICOM vendor partner sales representatives.
Develop and manage a forecast and pipeline for specified territory.
Responsible for working with Bids & Proposals on outlining the details of proposals to determine bid actions and generate professional proposals.
Collaborate with UNICOM resources to successfully deliver solutions to solve customer problems.
Understand and communicate UNICOM's products and services and have the ability to design a solution to specifically fit the customers need by leveraging presales engineers and solution specialists.
Experience selling solutions through Government contract vehicles including GWAC, IDIQ, and BPA contracts

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors degree is preferred, however, experience may be substituted for education.
Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in outside sales.
Prior experience in selling to State and Local governments and/or Educational institutions (SLED) is highly desirable.
Past relationships with partners and customers for SLED in the US South East Region (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina) is also highly desirable.
Recent experience selling technology services and solutions to customers is required.
Successful track-record of quota attainment/overachievement required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both internal and external customers and vendors.
Knowledge of and utilization of SalesForce.com is a plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Should be focused, driven, and motivated to increase business for the company.
Must be available to work non-standard hours during peak season times.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Technical certifications are a plus.
Travel Requirements:
Travel to customer sites may be necessary.
