We currently have opportunities for qualified mechanical & sales to join our team as The
Parts Support and Sales Representative (PSSR)
based in the Freeport Mines – Indonesia located in the Papua Province, Indonesia. This role is responsible for identifying aftermarket parts and service sales opportunities and also developing, maintaining and growing the allocated customer account relationships through an effective account management process, incorporating the customers’ strategic requirements with value offerings from Sandvik.
The focus is to provide representation to our customers at a higher level, with a greater focus on medium to long term goals, for both our customers and Sandvik
You will be a key member of an established team and drive the reliability and availability of the underground mining fleet while supporting a zero-harm safety culture
The opportunity will see you
Identifies aftermarket issues and opportunities and acts as liaison with customer through to completion
Develop sales opportunities for all aftermarket products for all Sandvik product lines
Performs gap analysis on existing fleet to identify sales opportunities
Responsible for achievement of agreed targets
Ensures accounts follow terms and conditions of sale
Provide support and assistant following up outstanding debtors
Liaises between customer and Sandvik on aftermarket issues to ensure all issues are settled in a timely manner
Predictive parts forecasting through analysing customer maintenance strategy and planning to ensure parts availability meets customer demand and expectation

Essential
You will be agile, work/task oriented and willing to accept a challenge. You will be a motivated self-starter with the ability to build relationships and gain the trust of various internal and external stakeholders. You will demonstrate a high level of determination to achieve goals and set targets for exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.
A mechanical trade qualification or mechanical aptitude is a key driver in the selection for this position. You must also have the confidence to work underground and You are willing to travel throughout Indonesia & oversea
Desirable
You will demonstrate a history of high achievement working in a customer support or account management environment and be interested in developing yourself personally and professionally. A background in parts and service, surface or underground mining and/or knowledge of Sandvik underground equipment at least 5 years would be a distinct advantage.
You must have the right to live and work in these locations to apply for this job and a federal police check is required if successful
