Description
Proactively identify member outreach opportunities and prospects on Capitol Hill through networking events, tabling events, and office presentations. Acts as the face of the credit union at relevant community and Credit Union sponsored events.
Function as a team member within the branch providing support and assistance with the wide range of member-related activities, such as completing member financial transactions, assisting marketing and business development education seminars. This position will require rotational Saturday hours on a monthly basis.
Utilizes prior financial sales experience to actively develop new and expand existing relationships through daily portfolio management. Conduct outside sales calls to assigned portfolio members and prospects to share information about new products or campaigns, and to help cross-sell and achieve deposit, loan and other related goals.
Consistently demonstrates CFCU service standards by providing a level of service that is recognized by members as exceptional. Provide timely and accurate service with effective cross selling and following up. Continually updates and maintains knowledge of Credit Union products, services and marketing campaigns. Reports all sales activity in Salesforce. Proactively connects with members and prospects by conducting needs analyses to determine their financial needs. Use open-ended questioning and other tools to identify, recommend, and educate members on appropriate solutions. Make appropriate referrals to mortgage, investment and insurance partners. Offer other relevant ancillary products.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience
Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
A college degree.
Interpersonal Skills
The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job.
Other Skills
Must have excellent communication and public speaking skills.
