We are looking for a Director of Business Development with 3 years of Logistics experience in a customer sales / account management role. This position will be an in-person position located in our Scottsdale office.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a sales strategy to acquire mid to large-sized customers.
Identify potential customers and establish relationships with key decision-makers.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure successful onboarding of new customers.
Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the logistics industry, including competitors, trends, and market opportunities
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven track record of customer sales success in the logistics industry.
3 years of industry experience in customer sales.
Significant account management experience.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to potentially lead a sales team as a player-coach.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
