Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing a network within the HVAC industry to focus and drive continual sales working with Reps, Distributors, and OEM customers.
Establish partnerships with Rep organizations and work with them to define financial targets, milestones and key performance indicators for growth.
Work with direct manager to develop strategic plans that are designed to drives sales initiatives with a structured focus on overall market growth. This plan should identify opportunities to penetrate new business while expending on own current markets.
Travel to Rep/Customer locations and maintain daily collaboration to support market growth, by developing sales projections, dissolve challenges, present solutions, and promote value proposition through MMC offerings.
Prepare professional product presentations and/or conduct sales presentations aimed to educate, train, and accelerate relationships with Rep and increase sales revenue.
Maintain accurate reports and database records of sales activities and transactions. Prepare progress Reports to management on the status of all pending opportunities and critical customer-related activities.
Follow up on sales leads, preform cold calling, develop and maintain social media marketing, prepare quotations, make pricing recommendations.
Work closely with Engineering Team on special projects requirements requiring specifications for more complex designs.
Maintain industry awareness through marketing and participate in industry events/trade shows.
Other duties may be required to perform the job.
Travel 50% - 75%, primarily domestic, some Canadian.
This position reports direct to the Manager Director/President.
Education, Skills and Experience Preferred:
Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) Preferred, 3 - 5 years of equivalent experience in HVAC Sales working with Distributors, Reps, and Direct OEMs. Territory Sales Management experience preferred within an Industrial HVAC applications, preferably in the Fan/Blowers industrial. Proven track record of successful sales growth.
Other Skills:
Team Player, Excellent Communicator, People skills, Ability to understand and guide the customer's needs, closing the Sell, work knowledge of the fundamental of industrial blowers, quote submittals, blower selection software, team builder, ability to understand and implement the company's strategic goals. Working knowledge of ERP systems, good computer skills - ie Microsoft office.
