Tire Route Delivery and Sales Specialist

BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to deliver tires to customers within the required territory and grow the Tire Care business through expanding our concentration of business with existing customers as well as the development of new accounts within assigned market area

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Effectively prepares all inventory for delivery to customers; same-day and/or next-day orders *Assist with the installation and removal of customers commercial tires *Assists customers with maintenance and reporting of their tire maintenance program *Verifies that all inventory is properly identified before unloading at each stop *Maintains clean work environment; complying with company safety procedures, rules, and regulations *Obeys all traffic laws *Effectively unloads customer returns and/or adjustment tires with correct paperwork and placing tires in appropriate location *Maintains courteous and professional relationship with customers *Properly maintains and updates daily and/or monthly driving log *Champion safe working conditions for all associates *Performs all day-to-day essential functions established by management *Comply with all company safety & performance standards. *Report all accidents immediately involving driver and/or company equipment, regardless of the damage to manager *Perform duties, including but not limited to, loading and unloading trailers, pulling orders, cleaning, etc. when not assigned to a scheduled delivery route *always Keep exterior and interior of truck and trailer clean and orderly to ensure positive Company brand representation *Manage existing customer base within territory with the highest level of integrity and customer service *Develop and maintain positive relationships with all Love's vendors  *Responsible for complete and accurate customer data within Salesforce customer management software *Secure profitable new business with both existing customers and new prospects *Other duties as necessary
 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

*HS Diploma or equivalent required *Bachelor's Degree preferred *Must have valid driver's license *Experience in tire sales and delivery preferred
 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

*Skills:

*Hard Skills: Proficent knowledge of Microsoft Office *Soft Skills: Work with other employees, team player, detail and deadline oriented, multitasking, organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to adapt and to grow from changing market conditions

*Typical Physical Demands:

*Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping. *Occasional lifting up to 110 pounds. *Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. *Requires normal range of hearing and vision. *Must have valid driver's license
