You will align closely with the SVP of Sales for North America, product management, channel and sales to create strategies to grow and close business. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, pregnancy, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, protected veteran status, medical condition or disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.#LI-JL2#LI-Remote Location:- Anywhere in the United States What You'll DoPartner with sales leadership and channel business partners to meet and exceed regional quota targets, goals and ensure the SE organization is enabled, engaged and productive.Lead, inspire and drive strategic initiatives for SE managers to grow, develop and strengthen presales talent.Recruit, develop, manage, mentor and allocate resources in the assigned region as needed for the business.Refine and scale the core sales engineering processes such as discovery, technical qualification, demos and proof-of-value (POVs).Act as a trusted advisor to sales, sales leadership and product management to help close deals and gain strategic wins.Work cross functionally with sales, product management, marketing and other functional areas to ensure alignment with regional opportunities and growth strategies.Promote products and business solutions at conferences, forums, and seminars.Participate in regional industry events/organizations as a thought leader.Provide input on product development or enhancements to existing products to product management function.Communicate the needs of the Sales Engineering organization to senior leadership as needed during QBRs, leadership offsites and other meetings where executive presence is required. What You'll BringBachelor's degree in engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.Solutions/Presales Engineering management experience (5 years), preferably with enterprise level customers.Prior experience growing and managing a sales engineering team of 30-40 individual contributors.Excellent knowledge and prior experience selling security solutionsProven analytical skills to lead business at scale using a combination of metrics, skip levels and direct observation of the teamExcellent written, oral, presentation skills and executive presence.Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things doneExperience with enterprise tools like Salesforce, Clari, etc.Ability to influence technical decision makers and executives.Ability to travel frequently within the region.
