As a wholesale Associate Territory Manager, you will be a key member of this team, working to develop a deep understanding of the core business principles, economic levers and best practices to succeed as Territory Manager in the future. For 12 months, you will be working both in the field and head office, through a curriculum designed to prepare you to manage the day-to-day operations and design a strategy for your own territory upon completion of the program. As a Territory Manager, you will be owner and responsible party for defining, executing, and managing the strategy of a broad territory, each with unique challenges and characteristics for Shell’s mobility business. Key to these ends will be developing deep relationships with our B2B customers to ensure delivery of Shell’s Customer Value Proposition.

The successful candidate for this role will be an individual that is driven to become part of a larger team and has an entrepreneurial spirit. Create deep understanding of the roles that Supply, Pricing and Demand all play to help both Shell Mobility and our wholesaler partners grow, develop, and defend their businesses.
Working with the Operations and Marketing departments, develop an extensive knowledge of our Wholesale Value Proposition and understand how this proposition drives wholesaler loyalty.
Collaborate across the business to effectively understand our national programs and initiatives to encourage and support marketing excellence for delivery of the Shell brand Customer Value Proposition in market. This includes understanding how Mobility’s Force 4 Good initiatives like the Giving Pump, Fuel Service and Charitable contribution allow Shell to better develop brand affinity through our partners.
Work with Shell Recharge and New Fuels team, to understand the new opportunities that the Energy transition is creating for our Mobility wholesalers.
Virtual home office environment with company vehicle provided by Shell Mobility with frequent travel to Houston for extended stays.

Company description

Shell is a global group of energy and petrochemical companies with about 84,000 employees across more than 70 countries. We aim to meet the world’s growing need for more and cleaner energy solutions in ways that are economically, environmentally and socially responsible. We have expertise in among other exploration, production, refining and marketing of oil and natural gas, and the manufacturing and marketing of oil products, chemicals, electric power, renewables and energy solutions.

As a global energy company operating in a challenging world, we set high standards f performance and ethical behaviors. We are judged by how we act and how we live up to our core values of honesty, integrity and respect for people. Our Business Principles are based on these. To power progress together, we need to attract and develop the brightest minds and make sure every voice is heard. Here are just some of the ways we’re nurturing an inclusive environment – one where you can express your ideas, extend your skills and reach your potential…

We’re creating a space where people with disabilities can excel through transparent recruitment processes, workplace adjustments and ongoing support in their roles. Feel free to let us know about your circumstances when you apply, and we’ll take it from there.

We’re closing the gender gap – whether that’s through action on equal pay or by enabling more women to reach senior roles in engineering and technology.

We’re striving to be a pioneer of an inclusive and diverse workplace, promoting equality for employees regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

We consider ourselves a flexible employer and want to support you finding the right balance. We encourage you to discuss this with us in your application.
