AutoNation Eastern Region Office The Retail Operations Development Manager partners with Market and Store leadership to help drive improved Variable Operations results such as Market Share, Gross Profit, New and Used Vehicle Sales and Sales CSI through in-store management development and process execution. The Retail Operations Development Manager ensures that General Managers and Sales Managers know how to implement, coach, train and most importantly execute AutoNation Sales Processes. The position includes working one-on-one with sales team members and partnering with the HR and Market teams to schedule required and requested process improvement activities based on Market needs.Job Responsibilities:nConduct in-store visits to work one-on-one with GMs and Sales Managers to help them drive business results through improved process execution working with them to develop effective and sustainable action plansnAnalyze available data to determine areas of opportunity in a store and in the market, and use this information to prioritize workload and maximize effectivesnWork one-one-one with GMs and Sales Managers to help them become better leaders, managers, and coaches of their teamsnWork with Phone and eCommerce Teams to maximize results through proper staffing, management and process executionnPartner with the MP, other Market team members and store management to drive positive results in lowering turnover, improving associate productivity, increasing CSI, Market Share, PVRs and SalesnKeep Market President updated on store best practices, opportunities for improvement and concernsnAssist in major Market or Region sales events such as offsite tent sales or new stores acquisitions as directednProvide feedback to the AN HQ Variable Operations teamnRequired to live in one of the cities where we have stores within the assigned MarketnConduct market meetings to share results, workshop opportunities and develop best practicesnAssist in the implementation of new pilot programs and initiatives related to sales operationsnAct as a liaison for store associates as it relates to our selling systemsnModerate travel required (50%)nMinimum Qualifications:n Must meet company's requirements for employment n 5 years automotive retail experience n 2 years of automotive sales management experience n Proven organizational, communication and presentation skill n Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications n Valid state driver's license nPreferred Qualifications:nBilingual Spanish and English preferred but not requirednBilingual Farsi and English preferred but not requirednAutoNation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and drug-free workplace.
