Job Introduction Sodexo Live! have a fantastic new opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing and Exhibitions (MICE) Team in London.

As the Business Development manager in the MICE sector you will carry out pro-active sales activity for all of our venue portfolio across London (and some venues in the rest of UK).
This is a true Business Development role and whilst a small amount of account management is expected (with our agency partners) You will need to be a strong sales professional not afraid to go out and network with potential new clients and bring in new business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities Achieve defined sales objectives and targets in London through a targeted sales plan and proactive management of key account performance.Carry out pro-active sales activity in London to drive sales into the portfolio of venuesWork with the MICE team to execute a sales strategy to drive growth and provide our customers with a motivating and exemplary sales experience.Seek every opportunity to sell the Prestige Venues & Events (PVE) portfolio, thinking creatively and generating new ideas, in order to grow the business.Work with the PVE sales & marketing team to create and execute a tactical sales plan for LondonConduct cultivation events and sales presentationsBe an active part of the London events market and community and attend such events to promote the business The Ideal Candidate Excellent Knowledge of the London Events MarketProven success in achieving sales targetsAbility to cross sell a portfolio of venues.Previous experience in a similar role in the MICE marketStrong personal industry networking including corporates and agenciesAbility to create excellent client relationships About The Company In the UK and Ireland, Sodexo employs around 30,000 people, and partners with clients in many sectors across business and industry; schools and universities; sports and leisure; energy and resources; government and agencies; healthcare; justice and defence.
