The Director of National Accounts is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for National Accounts, for both the On & Off-Premise channels across the US. This position will provide direction and leadership to the National Account Team through driving distribution, promotional plans and budget objectives that align with Mast-Jgermeister overall sales approach. This includes development of an annual forecast, budget, bottom up planning with key accounts and crafting quarterly and annual objectives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Establish go-to-market strategies that are aligned with priorities and annual business plan goals to deliver Sales, Distribution, Profit plan
Partners with the marketing team to develop a tactical strategy for program application and execution for all current and targeted National Accounts
Owns the National Accounts budget and ensuring that responsible budget submissions, spend and proper ROI maximization are achieved
Assists in establishing Best-In-Class sales processes including a fact based, consultative selling approach and post-program recaps
Oversees development of professional sales presentations and actively direct the National Account Team on ways to continuously improve content and delivery to drive the business
Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of customer plans and strategies and take corrective action as needed
Leverage customer insights to develop a competitive advantage with existing accounts as well as developing new opportunities within the National Account channel
Collaborate with field sales to ensure customized programs are communicated and implemented for maximum execution; review execution effectiveness and make necessary changes and/or recommendations
Builds strong and effective relationships with all stakeholders across entire network including retailers, wholesalers and associates.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
8 years of experience in sales, in the spirits and/or beverage, consumer industry
Have established business connections and relationships within the Grocery, C-Store, Drug, Mass and Club channels
Ability to effectively utilize business information reporting tools, especially Nielsen, VIP and Consumer Insights data
Knowledge of the federal, state and local laws and regulations. Knowledge of Distilled Spirits Counsel of the U.S. (DISCUS), National Alcohol Beverage Control Association (NABCA) and beverage alcohol laws and regulations
Excellent computer skills across Microsoft Office and internal data systems
