Shell is looking for a Business Development Manager to support our emerging offshore wind business in the country. Harnessing China’s abundant offshore wind energy is poised to be a major lever for China to achieve net zero emissions by 2060.
What is the role?
General Responsibilities of the China Mobility digital sales manager include:
Lead the sales and marketing strategy of Mobility China digital solutions to JV/WOFEs
Value keeper on digital solution sales strategy, channel strategy, CVP and solutions strategy
Responsible on the value identification, value origination, value generation and value realization for critical digital CVPs, products and service
Greatly participate in the cost management of digital solutions and provide valuable measurement based on customer-centric and value-centric approach
Manage the relationship with key JV/WOFE digital teams and partners
Support the integrated digital and loyalty team to help all JVs/WOFEs deploy 4-in-1 digital platforms and facilitate sufficient knowledge transfer and value creation via the unified platform
Support the China B2C digital transformation roadmap and work closely with Shell Retail IT, C&P and businesses to enable value-centric digital and loyalty program
Support and coordinate the run and maintenance, upgrade, and continuous improvement of the core digital platforms to move all JVs/WOFEs forward and provide the best customer experience in China
Provide timely advice to digital community for decision making purposes regarding digital strategy, policies, tools and systems
Work closely with global digital and global loyalty/CRM team to bring the world-class best practices into China
Work closely with a series of external digital and traditional service providers to build a sound digital eco-system for Mobility China
Keep highest level of data privacy and in the meantime harvest the most value via data analytics and tiered loyalty program Identify and nurture potential talent within SCL/JVs to ensure there is a sustainable pool of talented individuals to manage pricing activities
What we need from you?
We continue striving to build a professional Mobility organisation. Very up to date and direct experience of digital sales & marketing & services based on differentiated digital offers will therefore be an imperative and clear advantage in any application. The following qualifications will form a key part of the evaluation process and the selection of the candidate for the role:
Deep understanding on the customer and client needs and shopping mission
Mastery on the key drivers for the top-line and bottom-line performance
Mastery on the sales and marketing management for digital solutions
First-hand experience on implementing the differentiated customer offers
Solid IT and digital project/program management experience and skills
Solid expertise on the retail acumen and big passion to learn more about new retail
Solid expertise on the digital loyalty value system and build value-centric cultural
Strong resilience capability and good at handling conflicts and tensions and develop win-win solutions
Experience in influencing cross functional teams to deliver results without formal authority
Experience in leading change management in a broader organizational setting would be a plus
