POSITION SUMMARY:
RNN is currently looking for an Account Manager - Diginet Sales (TV Broadcasting) who will be responsible for growing and managing its Diginet business across all of its TV stations in the United States. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the Diginet business in the television industry. We are looking for an energetic sales professional that will build strong relationships, be industry savvy and have a superior business-building acumen to develop new revenue and manage an existing book of business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and exceed Diginet revenue goals across national platform of independent broadcast stations Generate new leads and obtain new clients for RNN distribution platform and each individual stations in each of RNN’s markets. Proactively develop external facing materials for distribution and advertising clients Collect, analyze and interpret industry and trend data (Kagan/S&P Global, Nielsen Audience Reports, Industry Research) for industry and corporate vision presentations. Grow existing accounts through effective up-selling and renewals Develop and maintain an annual goal and plan document to meet sales goals Create and present sales materials, including e-mails, proposals and presentations
COMPENSATION
Aggressive sales goals are equally met with a rewarding compensation package that will include a base salary, plus incentives based on your sales performance vs. goals.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years’ of sales experience in the television industry and experience in Diginet/multicast/D2 business required. Experience networking and establishing new relationships with key players in broadcast and programming industries, including agencies, advertisers, networks, etc. Bachelor’s degree
CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS
Excellent computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint. Solid written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to effectively communicate and be comfortable presenting. Multi-platform/integrated sales experience in ad network, digital publishing, or online media preferred.
