Summary:
This role is a key member of the Foodservice Sales Strategy & Execution (SS&E) team specifically supporting the West and Mid-South Regions. This position will act as a strategic thought partner for the sales team in order to drive category growth and meet overall AOP. Typical responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Act as the first point of contact to facilitate proactive, timely, and open communication
Be the subject matter expert on “how to navigate Tyson”
Provides consistent and accurate messaging
Amplify Foodservice Direct Sales Team ability to sell
Filters and funnels information from the business to sales and from sales back to the business
Ensures strategic alignment across the sales force (Distribution & K12)
Develops and manages best-in-class tools to facilitate timely accurate and comprehensive sales communication
Help team to implement best practices across regions
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of annual strategic plans and annual quota to deliver against plan. Act as a liaison between the Tyson Foodservice Direct Sales Force and Tyson corporate. Deliver industry insights to analyze and qualify sales leads for our direct sales teams. Provide measurement and reporting on key initiatives. Program development against identified white space opportunities. Manage Distribution sales communication content strategy as well as special communications and ongoing needs (i.e. SKU rationalization, sales hub, price changes etc.). Support special projects as directed by the Director of Sales Strategy & Execution
Requirements:
Education: Business marketing background Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 5 plus years of experience in sales training, customer development, and/or customer service. Experience in Foodservice Channel (i.e. Distribution, K-12, Non-Comm) is preferred.
Computer Skills: Standard computer skills required especially in Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills
Supervisory: None
Travel: 6 plus domestic trips per year.
