Reporting to the Senior Manager, Unified Communications (UC) Solutions Specialists and working closely with BBM account team, this person will be converting customer business requirements into sales opportunities. As a UC Solution Specialist, your role will be a subject matter expert on Unified Communications and Bell solution offerings. Enterprise Sales experience involving sales cadence and forecasting will be a prime skill-set to enable success along with technical industry knowledge or understanding in unified communications, networking and information technology.
JOB DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
*Responsible for the attainment and growth of annual revenue sales objectives *Accountable for customer proposal, positioning and retention of Bell UC solutions and service offerings *Response to customer solution inquiries through RFP process *Prospect and qualify business opportunities (upsell and cross sell) *Ownership of deal management and sales processes *Alignment with internal sales, pre-sales and post sales teams *Develop and present proposals including a business case to the Customer *Ownership of sales opportunity through sales process (identify, qualify, propose, close and delivery hand off) *Spends the appropriate amount of time continuously updating skills and knowledge
CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
*Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written) *Experience in Enterprise Sales and selling technical Customer solutions *Working experience in the unified communications, telecommunications or information technology industry *Good at managing an important workload and prioritization skills *Sales skills (prospecting, forecasting and presenting) *Account management skills (planning, development and negotiating) *Ability to prospect and identify opportunities while developing good Customer relationships *Demonstrated strength in understanding customer business issues and processes *Ability to present to a customer(s) in a product demo or solution overview capacity *Adaptability and flexibility
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
*Business acumen *Consultative and solution selling experience *Knowledge of unified communication solutions *Knowledge of network and cloud based solutions (Xaas) *Technical breadth coupled with depth (typically acquired through a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience) in one or more of the following areas:
*IP Voice, Video and messaging services *Network and security services *Industry leading manufacturer technology (Cisco, Microsoft, Avaya, Poly etc.)
