COMPANY OVERVIEW

Davey Mitigation, a new and rising division within the Davey Resource Group, Inc., is responsible for finding solutions to specific mitigation challenges and ecological restoration goals, including sourcing mitigation bank credits and establishing mitigation banks, to completing permittee-responsible mitigation projects, developing water quality offsets, and implementing custom restoration solutions. We are a close-nit and hardworking team that has the feel of a small company within a large one. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Market Analyst / Credit Sales Manager will have two primary roles: (1) helping to inform investment decisions by the Davey Mitigation team through research and analysis of targeted mitigation and environmental offset markets, and (2) managing mitigation bank credit sales.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

*Support business development efforts across active markets *Conduct research on new markets and prospective clients to assess potential needs *Maintain mitigation bank ledgers, track credit inventory and manage all other aspects of credit sales process, including client correspondence and contracting *Assist with preparation of bids ands proposals and other pitch / presentation materials *Monitor key indices of supply and demand in targeted watersheds *Develop strong working knowledge of underlying regulatory drivers and framework in all active markets *Provide project management and administrative assistance where needed to support Davey Mitigation team functions (e.g., assist Land Operations Manager with preparation of land offers and file storage, assist Project Managers with invoice processing and budget management, etc.)
 

QUALIFICATIONS

*You're a highly-motivated person with a positive mindset that has a proven track record for exceeding expectations. *You're looking for opportunities to grow within a new company division and develop your knowledge of mitigation and other environmental markets and credit sales processes. *You are responsive with strong written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced, small team environment.  *You are a multi-tasker, detailed oriented and organized.  *Bachelor's degree or equivalent. *Proficiency in Office Applications (e,g., Microsoft, Google), particularly Excel and Google Sheets. *Proficiency in Presentation Applications (e.g., Powerpoint). *3-5 years of working experience, preferably in sales or research role
