Job Summary
Responsible for providing subject matter expertise on the design and implementation of complex data network solutions for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Business Carrier Cell Backhaul customers across a national footprint. Works as a collaborative member of the sales team to market and sell the Company's product lines. Provides insight to customers on current and future network solutions. Works closely with account executives on business development, customer meetings, presentations, and the technical design of new sales. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. *Role will be virtual with 20-30% anticipated annual travel.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Provide consultative Product and Technical Sales support for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Business Carrier Cell Backhaul Customers.
Provide innovative solutions to customer needs that are scalable in a high volume CarrierWholesale environment.
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for Carrier Cell Backhaul Products (EVPL, Dark Fiber, Small Cell, and Wavelength).
Partner with Product Management, Product Engineering, Sales Operations, Account Executives, Leadership, and Customers to launch Products and Features.
Partner with internal stakeholders to respond to customer initiated RFP and RFI requests.
Translate complex technical design requirements into information that customers can understand and respond to.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Stay current on customerindustry business and technology trends.
Provide ProductTechnical training to customers and internal partners.
Provide ProductTechnology presentations to customers.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
5 years in a SalesSolutions Engineering, Product Management, Network Engineering, or similar role including a minimum of 3 years in position working directly with customers. (Ideally with a large service provider focused on Carrier, WirelessCell Backhaul, MSO, or Large Enterprise)
Preferred experience with following:
Mobile Backhaul Solutions (Ethernet, Dark Fiber, Small Cell, Wavelength)
Experience with GIS mapping softwaretools. (ArcGIS, ArcMap, .kmz)
DiversityAvoidance and Business ContinuityDisaster Recovery concepts.
Fiber Optic, Ethernet over Hybrid Fiber COAX, and Broadband Internet technologies.
Carrier Ethernet (E-Access EPL, EPL, EVPL)
Dedicated Internet Access (IPv4, IPv6, BGP)
Networking Protocols (OSI Model Layers 1-7)
Network Equipment (Routers, Switches, Wavelength)
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation skills both ProductTechnical and Leadership level.
Ability to create technical designs and diagrams of a customer solution.
Results driven with a focus on goal achievement.
Must be a team player, able to handle ambiguity, anticipate, and react to changes quickly in a fast paced environment.
Self-starterself-driven, with the ability to work independentlyremotely, disconnected from other team members.
Must be able to travel to customer meetings, events, and industry trade shows as needed. Average once per month.
B.S. Degree in Engineering or Technology field preferred. (or equivalent experience)
CCNA, CCDA, MEF-CECP desired. (or equivalent experience)

Pay Range: $89,775.00 - $151,725.00

Targeted Commission: $20,000
