Manager-Sales automation/process
Tyson is embarking on a multi-year strategic initiative transform the employee experience with sales processes, tools, data and content. We're looking for a talented sales automation and business process manager to join us and be at the forefront of developing future state experiences that will empower our team members to transform their work, while elevating the customer experience. You'll have the opportunity to shape the transformation of the Tyson sales force processes and significantly impact both the employee and customer experiences across Foodservice and Retail Sales.
The ideal candidate will have an innovative mindset, willing to challenge ideas, designs, direction, and approach. This role will be responsible for designing our sales processes moving from manual, complicated processes to smart, automated and simplified processes and systems, all designed to free up time for our sales team members to focus on selling. We will focus on enabling our sales force through process, data, analytics and content. The role contributes to multiple strategic initiatives, productivity efforts, and projects to take inefficiency out of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Develops detailed current and future state design, flows, and exceptions through broad business acumen
Leads the collaboration with stakeholders in identifying and vetting process improvement/automation opportunities.
Leading the design of personas, employee journeys, data and content
Skilled at journey mapping and business process design, and equal parts customer obsessed and data driven.
Identifying areas of inefficiency and collaborating with IT to solve with modern and effective automation (RPA, AI, Bots, etc.)
Applies various process improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques to effectively execute a scope of work within a project.
Collaborates closely with IT on automation and integration activities to ensure success.
Specifically works closely with our CRM team to document processes and collaborates with IT to ensure functionality meets requirements
Coordinates the process of data collection, setting standards and key performance indicators for each program or process improvement project with business managers and architects.
Facilitates brainstorming sessions independently and effectively to action
Ability to document complex processes using workflow diagrams (Visio or Signavio)
Ability to produce iterative system/process designs, starting with the minimal viable product and layering on features that work toward the target state
Experience with facilitating brainstorming sessions and effectively driving a group to consensus to determine a win-win situation for all
CRM adoption and further roadmap development roadmap and roll-out
Experience you’ll need
An understanding of Agile software development (ie. Scrum, Lean, and/or Kanban)
Proven project management experience
Practical experience with writing user stories that have clear business value and acceptance criteria
Proven ability gathering and documenting business requirements for technology and process changes
The ability to collaborate with both IT partners and the business on process modeling, design and requirements.
Strong business knowledge and understanding to apply to process improvement initiatives
Strong change management skills
Prior experience leveraging modern automation options to improve business processes
Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to collaborate effectively in a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders; professional presence, effective communication, presentation, influence and problem solving skills
Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy while balancing multiple priorities
You value autonomy. You have a strong personal sense of time management, and while you enjoy collaborating with your teammates, you don’t need a lot of oversight to get the job done
Bachelor's degree
5 years of experience in business process improvement, business process management, or process operations
Consulting experience a plus
