The Team
Travel Retail is a strategic wholesale Global channel under development. The team’s mission is to help build our brands’ equity around the world by expanding our presence on the key airports across EMEA region reaching more than 1 Billion tourists crossing international borders globally.
We like to consider ourselves as a start-up within a truly global organization as we are a relatively new centralized team that is responsible for the Travel Retail channel that encompasses airports, cruise liners & border shops. We manage the strategic Key Accounts (Travel Retail Operators) across more than 20 countries in EMEA region. Our scope is wide and so very dynamic as we oversee the entire business flow from business development to sales and order fulfillment for the Travel Retail channel for Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein brands.
You will become part of a high performing Team within our Omnichannel organization, contributing to the qualitative representation of the brand in The Travel Retail channel.
The Position
Reporting to the Travel Retail Manager EMEA, the Account Executive is responsible for the budgeting, range building and product strategy of our Tommy Hilfiger product divisions across the Travel Retail business. In a constantly changing retail environment, they look to drive the optimum assortment for each retail location, based on customer profile, sales targets and regional retail landscape.
With your strong commercial and sales background, in this position, you are the link between Tommy Hilfiger brand and the wholesale customers for the Travel Retail channel. In close alignment and collaboration with the markets and central functional areas (Product Divisions, Store Development, Marketing, Visual Merchandising) you will ensure Tommy Hilfiger global strategy is translated to the business channel.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for reaching business KPI’s through active development and maximization of direct and forward order sales across the product divisions
Build and strengthen sustainable relationships with our customers
Prepare, analyse and present regular sell in / sell out reports to the team and wider organization
Analyze market and business trends to maximize growth opportunities
Consolidate customer feedback and requirements for input to the relevant internal teams
Present, explain and sell collection to partners during seasonal sell in, mastering all digital presentation assets
Build and maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders such as Product divisions, Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Store Development
Coordination of new store openings from commercial plan and layout definition to fixture installation
Occasionally perform location visits
The Ideal Candidate
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Retail Wholesale Account Executive within the fashion industry.
Excellent communication skills and an ability to work closely with stakeholders
Strong fashion affinity and knowledge/awareness of the retail industry (wholesale).
Able to develop strong relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
Agile mindset, organized and detailed oriented, always seeking to improve ways of working and best practices.
Experience delivering results through implementing and driving sales strategies.
Experience gathering and interpreting data.
Excellent command of English language (spoken & written)
Technically proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
