Strong negotiation, networking, communication and persuasion skills in one-on-one, small group and large group presentation settings, while demonstrating deep understanding of the member business and industry will be critical to success. Additional success factors include a proven ability to build and execute strategic account plans, set goals, and manage activity around execution on sales plans. The Strategic Account Manager will work in partnership internally with marketing and operations teams to analyze customer data and determine sales strategies to generate awareness of partner/brand value proposition.

BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience (4 years)
3 years of experience in sales
Ability to prospect and willingness to develop relationships with stakeholders across accounts
Proven track record of success with selling into large, complex accounts
Experience with CRM automation tools (e.g. SalesForce.com)
Excellent negotiator
Strong research and strategic analysis skills
Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
Must be willing and able to travel as necessary
Graduate degree preferred; MBA highly preferred
