The Position

The Wholesale Operations Specialist is responsible to achieve timely, complete, and correct deliveries to our customers required to fulfil the sales order book.

The position will be the main point of contact for our Travel Retail accounts across EMEA for any Operational and Customer service aspect, as well as for internal teams that includes warehouse, credit control, Market Operations, Customer Set up and Commercial teams.

The Wholesale Operations Specialist will have a direct report at Coordinator level that will support on all aspects of the function and will require guidance and support on his/her development.

The Wholesale Operations Specialist will report into the Travel Retail Manager EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full accountability for Order Book management across divisions and brands, including order placement and shipping
• Responsible for the weekly update of Order Book status, as well as regular analysis on shipping performance and KPIs to ensure appropriate action is taken to achieve targets
• Direct contact with EMEA wholesale partners, warehouse, credit control, sales and commercial teams regarding order and delivery status
• Assesses departmental processes and needs to streamline the Operational processes from beginning to end, including purchase orders, customers’ master data, claims and returns, non sellable goods
• Build and strengthen partnership with our customers and provide them with high quality customer service support
• Responsible for the correct partner set-up procedures
• Motivate and manage 1 direct report, ensuring clear prioritization of tasks, provide support and guidance on the job and career development path
• Work closely with the Travel Retail Commercial and Sales team

The Ideal Candidate:

• At least 3 to 4 x years’ experience in international wholesale operations and logistics
• Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills
• PC Skills with Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Experience of data entry and use of computerized sales order processing systems. SAP knowledge is required
• Strong service orientation and excellent communication, with ability to establish and develop rapport with key stakeholders, both internal and external
• Entrepreneurial, excellent problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand the whole scope and the chain reaction of events from Sales, to Inbound and Outbound of goods
