POSITION SUMMARY:

The Account Executive III is responsible for selling Intimates brands of the Global Underwear Group to achieve sales plans and protect the profitability of the division.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Establish strategic partnerships with accounts to identify product needs and opportunities
  • Analyze style selling and door selling weekly to capitalize on product opportunities to drive topline sales
  • Lead market appointments with accounts inclusive of presenting strategy and product to retailers
  • Collaborate with merchandising and design teams to create product assortments and sku plans seasonally by account
  • Work closely with Planning, Operations and Customer Service teams to manage order files and OTB’s
  • Support the VP of sales to recap business and opportunities
  • Partner with Planning team on replenishment projections
  • Interact with the Field team to ensure strong execution of our brands in stores and online
  • Key understanding of the Intimates competitive landscape in North America

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience: 10+ years of Sales/ Account Management anexperience

        

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field

Skills:   

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to lead a presentation with confidence
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible to travel

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS:

          

Internal: Planning, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Retail

Development, and Field Services teams

      

External: Buyers, Assistant Buyers, Retail Planners, and Account Marketing departments

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for hitting sales targets and internal shipping budgets by account

DECISION MAKING: Independent problem solver; ability to negotiate with accounts

RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY: Partnering with accounts and cross-functional teams to drive sales and develop new business opportunities; protecting margin and brand on all sales initiatives
