HRS are currently looking for a Business Development Manager – Life Sciences to join a leading Digital Imaging company. As the Business Development Manager – Life Sciences, you will be responsible for proactively promote the Life Science product portfolio focused on cell biology and digital pathology.
This is a great opportunity for a junior sales specialist to join a growing department and take ownership of developing the relationship with new clients.
This role can be home–based and travelling will be expected as and when required (not extensive)
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Business Development Manager – Life Sciences will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Promote proactively the Life Science products focused on cell biology and digital pathology.
2. Your day to day responsibilities will be focused on lead generation, prospecting, arrange and lead client meetings (virtually and in person).
3. You will establish positive relationships with internal departments and work on joint marketing activities to support the growth of the company.
4.You will ensure the CRM system is kept up to date.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Business Development Manager – Life Sciences we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a Biological Sciences degree, such as Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Biochemistry and more. An MSc/ PhD is preferred.
2. Proven industry experience in sales within the life science sector, such Biotechs, Life Science product manufacturer, Life Science Distributors and more.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with business development and account management of pharmaceutical, Life Science and Research sectors.
