Responsibilities:
Responsibility for regional sales goals and other performance expectations forMS product, as agreed with National Sales Director
Responsibility for efficient regional budget planning and controlling.
Sales analysis on region level.
Definition and monitoring of basic sales goals for individual sales team member.
Determination of right targeting, segmentation and focusing as agreed with National Sales Director
Individual determination of developmental needs/strengths of her/his sales team members and execution of individualized development program.
Support of organization and implementation of medical education/training events due to her/his sales team.
Customer, market and competitive analysis for efficient territory management.
Scientific expert advice and support of key opinion leaders (KOL)-, organ- and medical neurologists in clinics and outpatient centers.
Close cooperation with responsible Regional Medical Liaison, Key Account Manager, Health Care Manager and National Sales Project Manager.
Keeps BU Director MS and Marketing Management MS informed of any market changes/competitor activity which are relevant to strategy implementation and development.
Monitoring of development and implementation of key account plans on product specialist level through CRM system.
Participation in national and international symposia and workshops.
Requirements:
Strong identification with BMS values.
Bachelor of Science in Business or Science; extensive experience in industry management, in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical industry; experience in sales of MS/Neurology products preferred.
Must have status as either Pharmaberater or geprüfter Pharmareferent according to §75 AMG
Leadership experience in pharmaceutical industry.
Proven successful supervision of regional sales teams is mandatory.
Excellent knowledge in neurology is preferred
Excellent and reliable contacts with neurologists is preferred
Knowledge of the distribution structures and distribution channels in the German market.
Marketing and sales-oriented thinking and working.
Understanding of medical and scientific research & development processes.
Project management skills.
Several years of qualified work experience in pharmaceutical sales service of a research- based, pharmaceutical company, preferred with neurology background.
Highly motivated, solution oriented and positive can-do attitude.
Straight forward, success, service and sales-oriented thinking and working.
Target oriented approach based on analytical-rational planning.
High social competence and capacity for teamwork.
Exceptional communication and thought leadership/ strong willed.
Confident manner, good customer acceptance due to medical and scientific advisory expertise.
Enjoying working in a sales team and doing project work as well as networking.
High self-motivation.
Good command of English, Fluent in German (verbal and written)and good computer skills.
Willingness to travel and train continuously.
Valid driver's license.
