Customer service:

Helping the client to find the right plants for the right places. You will be an educator as well as the point of contact and information. You will also be responsible for helping them purchase the additional items they need for the health and establishment of their new trees. You will be able to bounce from customer to customer, helping as many as possible throughout the day. The primary responsibility is sales. Although, other duties may also need to be performed.
Plant Care:

As part of the team, you will help keep products presentable and healthy with occasional upkeep such as weeding, watering, stocking etc. Another responsibility will be to keep management apprised of any plant health issues you see in your travels through the nursery.
Hours and other details:

This is an extremely busy retail environment. Most of the time you will be outdoors and can be in various weather conditions. It is a full time position, generally 10-hour days and weekends a must.
Previous sales experience required
Nursery, horticulture background and plant sales preferred
All applicants must be over the age of 21. Starting at $15-$16/hour, depending on experience. 46 plus hour weeks with overtime pay. This is a seasonal job that would begin late March through late November.
