Sales Administrative Assistant responsibilities include processing commission data and payments, looking up customer accounts, researching and resolving commission disputes, obtaining information for internet, phone, or TV provisioning, preparing proposals for new initiatives, preparing presentations for monthly sales and operations meetings, processing paperwork for new channel partners and ensuring they are set up to sell in our internal systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel, PowerPoint, MetroNet’s Order Entry, and CRM tools. If you also have previous experience as a Sales Coordinator, Inside Sales Lead, or Executive Administrative Assistant and have familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Sales Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our sales teams.
What you will be doing:
Help process bi-weekly sales commissions through reports from IT and sales teams. Research commission disputes from the sales team on a timely basis. Stay abreast of all commission changes, updates, and new plans put together for the DSA, Reseller, and Channel Teams. Help process paperwork for new channel partners through the sales team, work with Finance & AP on setting up, and gather sales credentials through IT to ensure they are ready to sell. Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports Develop and maintain a filing system for sales reports and commissions Update and maintain office policies and procedures Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers Submit and reconcile expense reports Liaise with current Executive Admin Assistant to handle requests and queries from Director of Sales, VP of Sales, and Senior Management
What You Need For This Position:
High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Sales Coordinator will be a plus Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Familiarity with any order system for sales would be a plus
