: The Digital Sales Manager (DSM) directly oversees the daily operations of the station's digital advertising business and interacts with clients and advertising agencies to maximize digital revenue. In this position, you will be working with an experienced sales team and have the opportunity to build your team of digital sales specialists.
Develops and executes sales strategies that result in exceeding digital and new business revenue targets Motivate and work with Account Executives and clients, developing results-driven marketing solutions across multiple platforms. Be an effective educator/trainer both internally and externally on digital tactics, benefits, and trends. Build out and manage a 2–3-person digital sales team Maximize new business and digital revenue potential from new and existing accounts Lead sales meetings in partnership with the Local Sales management team Prepares budgets and approves budgeted expenditures. Manages inventory and revenue forecasting Manages recruitment and development of talented sales professionals Manage revenue deals and budgeting for all digital products Explores new opportunities for clients and product partnerships Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience Minimum three years' experience in sales, preferably in the digital field Experience guiding, directing, and motivating a team, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance Experience establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them. Ability to identify the developmental needs of others and to coach, mentor, or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skills Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent follow-up, resourceful, and self-motivated Ability to multitask and prioritize with multiple pending deadlines Knowledge of prevailing digital technologies such as Google Analytics, ad tagging, SEM/SEO, social media, behavioral, OTT/CTV, and contextual targeting Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required. Experience with Wide Orbit, Matrix, and ComScore is a plus. Occasional travel required; available to work extended hours if needed
