Job Description:
Drive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Franchised Workshop (FWS) volumes and margins through the sector via successful marketing programs to achieve the plan.
Perform in a high-visibility role, with ability to manage stake-holders and operate under pressure.
Operate at both the OEM and dealership level to drive profit and works seamlessly with other marketing departments and sales in the delivery of national and customer specific plans.
Deliver marketing targets for volumes and margins within assigned sector.
Develop a deep understanding of 1) the customer(s) and the operational realities of implementing through the sector 2) the consumer and what offers/ Customer Value Propositions (CVPs) will resonate and 3) the OEMs, their programs, what products are being specified, and where the technology is going.
Support Key Accounts in their efforts to secure new OEMs contracts. Create and implement programs to conquest dealerships where we are not the OEM supplier of record, and to defend existing business from competing OEM programs.
Develop annual marketing plans for Key Accounts in conjunction with Key Accounts Managers (KAMs) for strategic OEM customers.
Create innovative marketing programs which are differentiated because they create value for the OEM and their dealerships beyond just our category. Manage a collation of marketing partners to deliver comprehensive profit solutions.
Drive all facets of marketing program delivery from concept through creative execution to implementation.
Build Challenger Selling skills within the sales force, and provide the coaching and tools required to implement our programs effectively.
Demonstrate marketing and industry professionalism to OEMs and large dealership groups, interface with industry forums and associations.
Given the size of the NA sector in comparison with global scale, serve as a subject matter expert on this channel working with Global team to develop new CVPs for the sector, and support their efforts to secure Global Key Accounts.
Stewardship of the Passenger Car Motor Oil (PCMO) aftermarket service fill portfolio ensuring timely product introduction. Provide direction and priorities to Brand and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) on what products OEMs are specifying to make sure our portfolio is complete and competitive.
Generate qualified leads to the sales teams for all sectors.
Stewardship and implementation of the OEM/FWS sector strategy.
Ability to manage many competing priorities. The incumbent needs to manage marketing plans for multiple large key accounts and be able to respond to sudden competitive and OEM programs that threaten our existing business. This requires sound project management skills and the ability to move internal development processes along defined deadlines.
Ability to lead external agencies, customers and multiple internal stakeholders often with tight timelines and budgets.
Strong team player and communication skills required to manage different interfaces.
Balance short term priorities to get the business basics right with longer term growth aspirations for our business.
Be the subject matter expert and the marketing Champion for the OEM/FWS sector.
Key Interfaces includes Key Accounts (Auto OEM/FWS Sector Manager), Indirect / Wholesale Team Lead, B&C Team lead, PLM lead, Creative Services Lead, VP Marketing Direct Sectors & OEM, Global Brand Managers for PQS and Rotella.

Requirements:
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in Sales / Marketing working with or through Retailers. Experience in Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Franchised Workshop (FWS) preferred.
Experience in agency management / creative services.
Amenable to domestically travel 35% of the time.
