We are seeking an experience focused Catering Sales Manager who can ensure a positive, lasting impression through the seamless delivery of their event. What you will be doingResponsible for generating Catering Revenue through the execution of strategic planning and performance to achieve/exceed individual revenue quotas in assigned market segments. Follow all department policies and procedures. Committed to the highest levels of guest service standards.Essential Functions:nPresent ideas, expectations and information in a concise, well-organized way.nThis position will be selling all marketsnPosition requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays to oversee the execution of eventsnAble to follow assigned marketing plan action items in a timely fashionnEnsures that all client correspondence is delivered according to departmental time and quality standardsnAble to produce a weekly sales call schedule which addresses timely follow up of all tentative business, maintenance of existing accounts, and development of new business, and priorities assigned by the Director of SalesnComplete all departmental reports and systems on a timely basisnAble to negotiate contracts that meet standards for rate or revenuenAble to negotiate the best interests of the property while maintaining customer goodwillnFamiliar with legality of contractual agreementsnUnderstands operational capabilities of the propertynManages group and interpersonal conflict situations effectively nEstablish, measure, monitor and evaluate processes policies and proceduresnEvaluates business trends to modify strategiesnWorkplace Safety in the era of COVID-19Associate and guest safety continues to be our top priority.
