In this Senior Oncology Sales Specialist (OSS) role, you'll work to promote top products representing a successful, results-driven pharmaceutical company with a culture of collaboration and innovation. You'll be an integral part of a nationwide sales team developing and managing an assigned territory. You will:nnFulfill sales strategies by selling current and potential new oncology therapeuticsnDemonstrate a working knowledge of the products' clinical efficacy, provide clinical support/information as needed, and achieve their sales quotanConduct business analysis, actively prospect for new business within assigned territory, develop account strategies with District Manager to increase sales in the assigned territorynDevelop customer specific pre- and post-call plans that include objectives, probes and supporting materialsnBuild customer dedication and identify and cultivate new relationships. Influence decision-makers by delivering a targeted sales message based on accurate clinical information, uses approved sales and marketing materials, and executes marketing strategies at the local levelnnJob Requirements Along with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:nnAlong with a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has:nA minimum of a bachelor's Degree requiredn5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience and 2 years of Oncology sales experiencenAccount selling experience requirednExperience in hospital and large account sales, handling complex reimbursement issues, Medicare Part D, and documented history of successful sales performance in a competitive environmentnA strong record of Oncology disease state knowledge, along with a high degree of understanding and familiarity with target accounts and the oncology communitynValid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekendsnnInterviews may be conducted in person at an on-site interview location.
