Description
The Sales Support Professional 1 provides timely and effective sales administrative support to assist with the acquisition or retention of customers. The Sales Support Professional 1 work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity.
Responsibilities
The Sales Support Professional 1 manage several business reports accurately and on time. Bring direct support to Marketing Specialists, Supervisors and SMSE creating and managing: leads and sales reports, events calendars, coordinating resources, POS results analysis, sales audits and evaluations . Makes standard calculations to accurately compile and report statistics to upper management based on business needs . Performs background research on customer accounts, prospects, competitors, and industry trends to support the sales teams activities. Answers internal and customer inquires. Communicates with staff from other areas in the organization to confirm the status of orders and resolve customer complaints. Maintains up-to-date customer records. Understands own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. Makes decisions regarding own work approach/priorities, and follows direction. Work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation.
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree or equivalent job experience (managing reports, contracts, proposals)
1 year of experience in reports, contracts, statistics, accounts or related field
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Applications: Excel, Word, Teams, OneNote
Excellent Communication Skills in Spanish (written and verbal)
A self-starter with good problem solving skills and organizational skills
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Work-At-Home Requirements:
Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
COVID VACCINATION : Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Understanding of basic Project Management skills
Comprehensive knowledge of PowerBi and Databases
Analysis and Ad-Hoc Reporting based on business needs
Prior experience working within the healthcare field
Additional information
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, Overtime as per business needs.
Work Style: Hybrid Home - Associates Home office environment is their primary work location where the majority of their work week will be spent, but they will use Humana office space occasionally for collaboration and other face-to-face needs.
