The position's primary role is to assist the Sales and Events team with phone calls, emails, inquiries and to assist with banquet events. Some evening and weekend work maybe required.nAnswer phone calls and message support for the Sales department and respond to inquiries in a timely and pleasant manner.nMaintain guest/partner profiles, contacts and additional necessary records used in the Sales and Event operationnAssist the Sale team with the preparation of contracts, proposals, BEOs and addendumsnEvents management and coordinationnInput group and event inquiries into excel files and Tripleseat (event management platform)nAnswer client/bookers questions about property facilities/services, rates, promotions, etc.nGather materials and assemble information packages (e.g. banquet brochures, promotional materials, sales kit, etc.)nArrange and co-ordinate meetings, events and any appointmentsnOversee set-up of banquet events and assure event successnMeet with clients in the absence of the Director of Sales or Sales Manager to effectively and professionally convey details of the sale to the clientnnnPerform hotel site tours with existing/potential clients.nOther duties as assigned by Director of Sales nQualifications:nHotel sales and events management experience preferrednProficient in Microsoft OfficenExcellent communication skills for both oral and writtennWell-organized and detail-orientednPossess current driver's licensenAbility to work independently and within a teamnAble to speak Japanese speaking preferredn Source: Hospitality Online,
