Responsible for identifying critical patient engagement opportunities across US commercial organization and pulling through Patient Hub Capabilities and best practices across Oncology portfolio to drive performance and deliver Patient Hub vision and objectives to establish and differentiate BMS leadership in specialty; Working closely with the Patient Hub Capabilities Lead identify innovation opportunities within US Commercial organization, where Patient Hub can strategically advance aspects of its capabilities.
Key Responsibilities and Major Duties:
Builds and maintains subject matter expertise on BMS and external/industry patient engagement trends, conducts briefings for senior management and US teams brand teams as appropriate
Develops patient-facing strategy and tactical plans that triangulate BMS business imperatives and patients’ and caregivers’ unmet needs
Oversees the in-market (US ONLY) delivery of tactics
Identifies best practices and ensures that learnings are integrated across Oncology and Specialty portfolios
Drives best practices for patient CRM architecture and pull through to ensure superior patient experience across US patient brand efforts
Develops measurement plans for patient tactics.
Enable consistent and appropriate application of Patient Hub capabilities across Oncology and Specialty portfolios, including the following:
Selection and management of patient marketing agencies / vendors (as appropriate)
Knowledge sharing and skills training around direct marketing capabilities

Requirements:
BA degree or equivalent is required; MBA is preferred
7 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience, including 5 years focusing on patient strategy and/or channel operations. In-line brand consumer/patient marketing experience is highly preferred.
Competencies:
Proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Expertise in developing patient marketing / programs operations, patient support programs, patient CRM, etc. (as well as associated processes and training for each)
Proven expertise in translating insight into an integrated patient/patient centered campaign/tactic that delivers measurable business results
Proven track record of collaborating with other teams and delivering results on budget / on schedule
Deep expertise in understanding patient dynamics and regulation to drive efficiency and innovation in operational execution of patient capabilities
Experience with patient marketing programs / strategy and channel operations
Experience with new capability development, pilots, and integration preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent planning, prioritization, management, and organizational skills
Excellent management skills, including experience selecting / directing agencies and vendors
Proven coaching and competency development skills (to foster sustainable patient marketing knowledge and talent)
Proficiency at demonstrating the Core BMS Behaviors
Travel Required:
Infrequent; 3-4 overnight absences/quarter
