Reporting to Vice President of Revenue Operations, the Director of Sales Enablement
is responsible for ensuring Brightcove Sales readiness & capacity through training programs, evangelism, coaching, and skill verification. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building and scaling our global enablement function to support our quickly growing sales organization and will act as an integrating role between various sales and marketing areas, including revenue operations, product marketing, and HR.
Roles & Responsibilities
Drive Sales readiness & capacity vision and strategy in accordance with the Brightcove sales mission
Build and develops a global team of high-performance enablement professionals
Design and develop training programs that increase sales force skills and knowledge, improve sales competencies, with a goal of positively impacting sales results
Building and maintaining Brightcove sales training curriculum and content, such as eLearning, ILT courses, refreshers, job aids, etc.
Work closely with RevOps, Product Marketing and Product Management to develop and deliver effective Sales Playbooks
Driving new hire onboarding program for Brightcove Sales to decrease new hire ramp-up time by curating their eLearning and OJT experience, as well as administering ILT courses and Q&A sessions.
Arranging regular skills verifications and initiating knowledge and skill set mitigation plans based on the skill verification findings
Ensure all aspects of the sales process and methodology, tools and resources are packaged and delivered to the global sales teams in ways that they can learn, adopt and implement
Use performance data to identify knowledge or skill gaps across the sales team
Planning and arranging global Sales readiness & capacity activities calendar
Minimum Requirements:
7 years prior technology evangelism and sales enablement at a SaaS company
Experience building effective field sales on-boarding and sales training programs
Mastery in adult learning principles and ability to apply across a wide variety of learning solutions
Experience in Sales Methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
Proven record of driving sales and technical training & certification programs, eLearning, etc.
Solid experience with content creation software and learning management systems.
Ability to create and track metrics which demonstrate constant increases in sales productivity
Strong presentation, communication and relationship building skills.
Strong accountability and drive for results.
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing multiple work assignments simultaneously.
