Aon Is Looking for Sales Executives for our 401(k) Pooled Employer Plans TeamBe part of the industry-leading team bringing Aon’s innovative retirement savings plan to employers across the U.S. – the Aon Pooled Employer Plan (Aon PEP). At Aon, we believe that PEPs are the next generation of retirement savings as they 1) reduce work for employers, 2) reduce risk for fiduciaries, and 3) reduce costs and improve results for employees. In 2021, we introduced our Aon PEP to meet this growing market demand and to date have over $1B in assets and commitments in our new program. We are ready to target this multi-trillion dollar market with a dedicated sales team. The sales executives will be responsible for creating external demand for the Aon PEP, and will drive our go-to-market strategy, coordinating and directly participating in sales efforts.Your Impact as a Sales ExecutiveResponsibilities:Achieve annual Aon PEP sales goalsHelp establish and coordinate sales strategy across all marketsIdentify and pursue internal and external prospect opportunitiesEffectively integrate with other Aon sales leaders across practices to identify opportunities and deliver Aon United to prospectsBuild and maintain the Aon PEP prospect pipelineEffectively introduce lead generation resources at the appropriate time in the selling processCollect and communicate market intelligence on products/services and incorporate it into sales client planning processCreatively eliminate barriers for clients entering new markets; support the team in navigating alternative paths to making the saleEnsure most efficient use of Aon Connect, Aon’s internal CRM/pipeline management toolPartner with Aon PEP and DC Leadership teams to advance marketing investments and solution developmentRegular/minimum of 30% travel expected, depending on sales opportunities.Collaborate and share approaches and findings with other regional Master Trust sales teams globally as we expand this offering in other marketsQualifications and Expertise5 years of direct sales experience in the defined contribution market (or similar institutional assets) with demonstrated sales successEstablished network of contacts in the DC industryLeadership experience in guiding a team of multiple sales directorsProven history of success in developing new products in various markets, and establishing and executing a sales strategyDemonstrated history of building and maintaining a substantial pipelineAbility to communicate the value of a product to clients, deliver insights on how the service will impact the client’s business, and effectively close the opportunitySubject Matter Expertise: Broad knowledge and expertise of defined contribution plan administration and investmentsStrong relationship management abilities: Capability to build trusted advisor relationships at multiple levels in a potential client company, including members of the fiduciary, financial, and administrative committees who are responsible for the defined contribution plan. Experienced in maintaining productive, internal relationships to leverage those resources when necessary.Strong Communication and Project Management skills: Ability to manage multiple, complex sales processes at the same time. The more you sell, the more you earn!  The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $200,000 annually, in addition to the uncapped commission opportunity.
