Aon is looking for a Health & Benefits Account Executive and Practice Leader in Indianapolis.  Aon is in the business of better decisions: At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.  As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.   Focus of this dual role: Lead a team of experienced account executives and serve as account executive on a portfolio of clients.  Lead a team of health & benefits consultants in the Indianapolis and Louisville combined market. Develop and own the business plan for the Health business in Indianapolis and Louisville Lead and support the team in serving clients and growing the business Manage overall performance, retention and profitability of client relationships in your market Partner with sales professionals to develop and sell new client relationships Serve as the face to the market, including clients, prospects, vendors and professional organizations in Indianapolis and Louisville Lead the team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration in service of clients Build relationships with Account Executives and team leads from other practices within Aon, including Retirement, Human Capital and Risk, to drive to shared client objectives Form effective teams, share client background and goals, measure results, share ideas, identify process improvements, provide timely and regular coaching and feedback to team members Serve as strategic resource for all of the clients in your market Lead benefits strategy, design and pricing for a portfolio of clients, including all areas of health & welfare programs.  Provide client leadership focused on business objectives Build relationships with clients across multiple levels of their organization Exhibit leadership in business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions Lead client relationships to measurable results Oversee vendor negotiations and provide technical coaching to other team members  Skills and experience that will lead to success: Bachelor's degree in relevant field  10 years Health and Benefits background Consulting experience (10 years) Client facing experience at a consulting company, insurance company, brokerage or in the Health and Benefits discipline. Complex project management experience Broad business knowledge/perspective Team building skills Business development experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Active Health & Life license   Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.   How we support our colleagues: In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
