About the job
We're looking for an expert leader to lead our franchise vertical for Zipwhip customers, who lives
the Twilio Magic
, and has a consistent track record of leading a team focused on the end of life processes aligned with the Zipwhip product line. As Head of our franchise vertical you will be responsible for bringing your vision and innovative approach to ensure that the customers aligned to the Zipwhip franchises have a program to successfully offboard from the Zipwhip software to either Twilio products or to alternative vendors. Reporting to the
Head of M&A, GTM
, you will play a key role in generating offboarding plans, leading any team members associated with franchises, improving processes associated with franchises, and creation of efficient programs that deliver high customer satisfaction while ensuring the customers have a soft landing with the new solutions they move forward with.

Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Build, develop and retain a team that cultivates trusted-advisor relationships with prospective customers at all levels (developer to C-suite).
Lead the development of a repeatable and scalable client success methodology.
Develop and drive the account planning process for our top franchise accounts that results in strong relationships and customer satisfaction.
As a principal customer advocate, develop strong internal relationships with Twilio sales, marketing, product development, support and finance to solidify support for our existing and potential new customers
Working across Twilio, align on and implement strategies to consistently focus on client satisfaction, partner satisfaction and the successful offboarding of existing clients.
Drive use of documentation to provide analytics and solid visibility in your team’s execution.

Required:
8 years Enterprise sales experience and 3 years in Enterprise sales leadership with SaaS, IaaS, PaaS or consumption based technology experience where customer relationships are dependent on technical performance.
Ability to evaluate teams, develop and reshape them as necessary while mentoring and encouraging them to drive, and continually improving results through strong leadership. Experience directly building and leading a hard-working sales teams between 7-10 AEs with a consistent track record of over-achievement in earnings in past roles (top 10-20% of company)
Demonstrated ability to develop strong consultative relationships with external partners and internal cross-functional teams at all levels. Examples of collaborating with the marketing department to develop and/or implement in-territory or vertically-focused field marketing campaigns to drive awareness and lead generation
Bring data driven methodology and quantitative analytical skills, including pipeline management and forecasting. Evidence of exceptional commitment to a process-driven sales approach, and accurately tracking and forecasting of all customer engagement and activity through the use of Salesforce

Project management, planning and organizational skills.
A bachelor’s degree and prior work related experience or equivalent.

This role is fully remote and may sit anywhere within the United States.
Minimal to no travel is anticipated.
