The PAC Regional Sales Leader will be responsible for leading the sales activities, strategy, growth, and development of the sales team in the West region of the United states, while maintaining sales responsibility for assigned key accounts and segments.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
As the GA PAC Sub Regional Leader, you will:
Develop and execute commercial strategy for sales of Protection, Automation & Control as well as Monitoring & Diagnostic products for Industrial accounts within the specified region.
Regionally lead the team towards specific strategy in the development of services contracts to include engineering, project design and execution, enclosures, field service and master service agreements.
Manage the assignment, development, and engagement strategy for the network of third-party Sales Representatives in selling GE GA products
Lead the continued development of new leads and market opportunities in the region
Manage sales opportunities and quarterly estimates for assigned accounts through a CRM. Oversee and manage the CRM activities of any assigned staff.
Pace the regional sales team regularly to ensure pipeline development aligns with sales forecast and to drive orders to close.
Directly or through leadership to others, outline, present and sell the value of our products and services that can benefit our customer needs.
Work directly with Customers to influence specifications and close key deals. Act as company representative in negotiations, represent regional leadership in meetings.
Guide the team and self to provide an essential link from the customer to commercial operations, marketing, engineering, and product development teams.
Develop and cultivate long-term relationships at all levels of customer organizations and within GE for region and assigned accounts
Regionally provide market dynamics input such as competitive intelligence, to the Marketing and Business team
Perform essential leadership functions as People Leader for assigned staff.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or other technical field
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in protection & controls / automation or service applications
Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience in a technical field
Ability and willingness to travel as required

Deep Power System Grid Automation market segment knowledge and expertise
Knowledge of Power System hardware and Industrial customer electrical applications
Experience developing and executing successful growth strategies
Ability to make effective customer technical presentations
Proven leadership to others

Excellent communication and presentation skills
Work efficiently without direct supervision
Desire to work outside of boundaries and drive change
Six Sigma Certification or equivalent Quality certification
