About THE ROLE

You will become part of a high performing Team within our SALES NL organization, contributing to the qualitative representation of the brand in The Netherlands.
Reporting to the Wholesale Director, the Sales Manager is responsible for co-formulating, owning, implementing and driving the strategy for sales across the department and the wider Wholesale Business.
They will play a true leadership role responsible for bringing the PVH Wholesale vision to life through the day to day running, development and coaching of the team.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for reaching divisional wholesale KPI’s through active development and maximization of direct and forward order sales within all chosen channels and segments.
Deliver input to Sales Director on mid- and long term strategic direction for your segment, such as product and distribution strategies
Financial; understanding the country P&L and key annual targets.
Taking ownership of terms and conditions, ensuring these are in line with the deal matrix and adapted in the financial year plan.
Deliver on budgetary planning for direct and forward order sales, by providing input for commercial budgets per partner in line with the fiscal year budget plans validated by Sr. Management.
Gain in-depth understanding of markets by pursuing (field) market research and pass on relevant information (e.g. trends, competitor analysis, country analysis) to relevant stakeholders within the Northern HUB and divisions.
Responsible for divisional distribution strategy: optimizing the distribution in Good Better Best segmentation, optimizing white spots, premium brand focus, simplify to grow tiering focus top 50 and connecting tail end customers serviced by B2B.
Merchandise responsibility; collect feedback from the market regarding needs for upcoming collection and provide input and feedback at key meetings, Build and customize assortments per door based on insights obtained during previous seasons
Present, explain and sell collection to partners during sell-in as well as in the market, mastering all digital presentation assets.
Build and maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders throughout development- and sell-in process) to ensure alignment cross selling product groups, and act on new opportunities or issues with always an eye on the solution.
In season management; build and maintain close relationships with partners and provide in support (e.g. order fulfilment issues, additions, B2B-portal) creating efficient travel plans for the teams.
Team management; lead, develop and inspire your team through managing learning opportunities & development of team members.
Oversee and consult on operational activities of team members
About YOU
You'll have experience within the fashion industry, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in wholesale people management, with a proven track record of empowering and developing teams.
You'll have experience of owning projects with proven ability to find solutions and deliver results through a team within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture.
You’ll have strong stakeholder management skills, building key stakeholder relationships and the ability to influence and challenge across all levels.
You’ll be a commercially astute confident decision maker and people coach, communicating and influencing with impact across all levels.
You will lead and motivate your team to embrace and adapt to change and work with pace.
You’ll demonstrate an agile mindset, always seeking to improve ways of working and best practices.
You'll have excellent negotiation skills and an analytical mindset, always backing yourself with data, insights and product knowledge, encouraging and leading these best practices with your team.
You'll be experienced in delivering results through implementing and driving sales strategies through a team.
You’ll have the confidence to step away from the day to day activities to focus on the bigger picture without losing operational excellence
You’ll be customer focused, a true brand ambassador, demonstrating a passion to deliver a quality service on time, every time.
Technically proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Business fluency in Dutch (written and spoken), English is a benefit
Full Clean Driving License.
