SUMMARY: This role is a key member of the Foodservice K12 and Distribution Team and will help develop and execute sales strategies to deliver fiscal year plan/AOP. This position will be responsible for strategic analysis of the K12 and Foodservice Distribution businesses; typical responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Sales and bid analysis as it relates to the K-12 channel
Act as a liaison between sales, pricing, and bid teams
Drive process efficiency and empowerment through analytics to maximize selling time for the team
Collaborate with field sales teams, channel development, USDA, as well as other facets of the business
Participate in the annual budget process
Responsibilities: Provide sales with information analysis and recommendations to help meet sales quota throughout the entire country. Perform bid analysis on commodity and commercial bids and sales to create recommendations to sales on action plans. Have a detailed history of bids to help future decisions within the bid department. Provide complete analysis on both direct schools as well as schools buying via a distributor. Measure and track sales progress; provide feedback from sales to enhance effectiveness of sales plan and direction. Help develop and execute go forward strategy in both distribution and K12 channels.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Experience: 5 plus years’ experience in sales analysis
Computer Skills: Power BI Tibersoft SAP HANA Microsoft Office
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills.
Special Skills: Ability to lead by providing direction from analytical results; multi-tasking abilities; knowledge of Food Service K12 industry; sales; process innovation; and must be customer centric.
Supervisory: None
Travel: 1-3 trips per year
