Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a passionate, energetic, creative and detail-oriented individual to join the Pre-Sales organization at Lookout. You will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with new and existing customers across the Nordic region (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland). Successful candidates will be results-oriented, self-directed and strategic in their approach. You will have strong input into and influence over the relationships we build with our customers. You will have already successfully supported all technical aspects required for software sales into the commercial market. You are experienced with working with Channel Partners and have solid contacts within the security technical community. You are an experienced engineer with a successful track record of solving difficult technical issues, architecting solutions to meet customer needs, and providing valuable feedback to developers based on customer input. You understand the mobile threat landscape and the challenges of security in a mobile first world. You know how to ensure that your customers needs and wants are conveyed across the organization, while primarily safeguarding the interests of your own company.
What Will You Do?
Work with Sales and Marketing to support demand generation and qualification of opportunities to support the regional revenue plan
Create deep ongoing relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations. You will represent customer interests internally, most importantly balancing Lookout’s interests with that of the customer
Manage resource investments to maximise win probability
Maintain an awareness of the competition and position the capabilities of Lookout Security products with the customer to define RFP requirements
Aid in the response to RFIs and RFPs in a timely and professional manner
Assist technically with Proof of Technology and Proof of Concepts in customer environments
Communicate customer requirements and competitive data, including feature needs, and value proposition to the product and marketing teams and senior management
Provide input to senior management on go-to-market strategies
Work with post-sales functions to ensure successful customer deployments
Build the Lookout Security brand by presenting at seminars and conferences
What’s Needed?
A solid system/sales engineer with excellent relevant experience, strong ties with customers and a positive reputation for delivery.
5 years of direct sales engineering experience with customers in the Nordic region.
Knowledge of mobile technologies (EMM / MDM), mobile security strategy and mobile threats.
Excellent presentation and communication skills and the ability to boil down complex topics into clear and easily understandable messages
The ability to help the company become a thought leader in the mobile space
The ability to sit on technical panels and deliver strong technical presentations to prospective customers
A proven ability to take ownership, self-manage and prioritise accordingly.
Ability to plan and execute on technical sales strategies and communicate effectively on results
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and drive others. Be able to say “no”, take charge of the account, manage all interactions with that account
Flawless organizational and follow up skills
Excellent analytical skills
The role will predominantly involve working in Sweden and the candidate should be based in the Stockholm area. Travel will be required throughout the Nordic region (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland).
