The Director of Sales will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer to meet the topline revenue goals for the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***..Job DescriptionnSolicit local business for new corporate accountsnStrength relationships with current corporate BT accountsnConduct and continuously update local market research.nSell incremental room nights for assigned properties.nDevelop and execute each hotel’s marketing plan.nAchieve and exceed the revenue targets for the assigned properties.nAssess the market potential and develop new business opportunities while at the same time increasing revenues from existing customers.nConduct and enhance public and community relations.nSell Meeting Room and Board RoomnSell Group rooms and/or Meeting spacenEducation Requirement4-year bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.Specific Responsibilities nAchieve revenue and RevPAR targets for all business segments.nEstablish monthly sales forecasts. Keep the General Manager and Corporate appraised of the status of these forecasts to ensure that the property has a steady stream of business through the year.nLeverage cross sell opportunities amongst all Shahi Group properties.nMaintain a high visibility in the surrounding communities.nEnsure all sales leads are followed up.nAssist in the development and recommendation of rate strategies.nEnsure compliance to the sales and marketing bonus plan.nMaintain history trend analysis for the property.nEnsure the prompt and systematic servicing of all business accounts.nIdentify and analyze competition, both locally and regionally.nAttend Chamber of Commerce monthly meeting, and other pertinent community activities.nDevelop strategic relationships with third party providers.nEnsure that the web and third-party electronic distribution channels are continuously reviewed, researched and updated for maximum hotel exposure and maximum room night generation.nAttend relevant tradeshows and events to promote the assigned properties.nOptimum AttributesnExcellent communications skills.nWell-groomed and professional appearance.nWilling to take responsibility and accountability.nWilling to work on weekends and holidays if required.nConsistent and congruent.nPleasant personality.nVisit ****to learn more about our company.Schedule: Full-Time, mainly M-FRelocation: NPosition Type: ManagementLocated Remotely?: No Source: Hospitality Online,
