As we seek to continue providing innovative treatments to patients, we are searching for an experienced and commercially-minded professional to join our Danish team as Key Account Manager.
Focussed on our Haematology franchise, you will develop and execute sales-force activities, create and execute account plans in alignment with the national product strategy and in close collaboration with Marketing, Market access and Medical team.
Additionally, you will be responsible for developing educational meetings with Thought Leaders and support customers@center activities throughout the country in close collaboration with other functional teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
Implements the selling message and strategy to change customer behaviour resulting in achievement of sales & market share target.
Maintains consistent contacts with allocated specialists and TL´s at Key Hospitals through sales calls, staff meetings, symposia and national congresses.
Communicates clearly, logically and concisely in a variety of settings including formal group presentations and written communication.
Develops Educational meetings in cooperation with TL's and support Customer @Center activities throughout the country.
Responsible for the execution of Key projects in cooperation with Medical, Marketing & Market Access.
Develops & executes Key account plans in collaboration with Medical, Marketing & Market Access.
Keeps abreast of market and environmental changes by gathering competitive intelligence and sharing it with appropriate internal and external sources.
Closely monitors/addresses competitors' activities in the market place, brings up & drives innovative ideas to overcome the challenges in the market place.
Seeks in-depth information from customers in order to thoroughly understand their needs. Share information with his/her manager and seeks effective ways to deliver customer feedback.
Expected areas of Competence (i.e. skills and abilities) and knowledge desired:
Experience of pharmaceutical business, specifically sales.
Demonstrated experience of proven track record of sales excellence.
Experience or knowledge of Danish Healthcare System & Pharmaceutical industry.
Understanding of core marketing principles andexternal legislation.
Understands how to read, analyse and draw conclusions from available statistics and translate this understanding into actions.
Effective communication skills to impact and influence people.
Comprehensive computer skills including; Microsoft Office.
Candidate Background:
University degree (min. BA, BS) required, life science, business degree or healthcare management preferred.
Profound experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, preferably within haematology
Proven track record in different customer facing role(s) e.g. medical, sales, marketing and/or account management, with the ability to manage and coordinate complex projects and cross-functional teams/networks
2-5 years as Key Account Manager within a specialist oriented disease area
Experience in the haematology area is preferable
