We have an opportunity for a Sr. Technology Sales Manager to join UOP€™s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) organization during an exciting tie of growth for our business. This role can be located in Des Plaines, IL or Bracknell, UK. The primary role of this position is to manage the Technical Sales team for Renewable Fuels, Clean Hydrogen, Carbon Capture Utilization & Sequestration (CCUS) and other technologies that may emerge from the STS business.
You will provide both external and internal consultations and will help Honeywell teams develop and maintain the right product messaging, customer support, and training. You will drive cross-functional alignment to customer needs, participate in pursuit strategy planning and develop the needed knowledge and skills within your team to help Honeywell win customers by owning the Honeywell value proposition and sharing your knowledge about products and solutions that compete on the market to influence customers toward Honeywell solutions.
Key Responsibilities
€¢ Manage a team of Technical Sales Engineers generally aligned with a technology portfolio
€¢ Work in close coordination with the Senior Business Leaders (SBLs), Offering Managers (OMs), Project Development Managers (PDMs) and counterparts in other functions across UOP to ensure that the business objectives are met
ï§ Evaluate project opportunities
ï§ Right-size needed response for those opportunities
ï§ Staff those opportunities to be pursued
ï§ Analyze growth opportunities
ï§ Analyze product development needs
ï§ Coach on targeted product value propositions
ï§ Provide data for sales collateral
€¢ Drive continuous improvement in UOP€™s technical proposals. This includes ensuring strong quantified value propositions through consistent use of the project bankability tool, inclusion of UOP Six Efficiencies (E6) and new Sustainability sections of technical proposals.
€¢ Develop and champion best-in-class technology sales training
€¢ Coordinate efforts of your team
€¢ Ability to travel up to 20% both domestically and internationally
You Must Have
€¢ Bachelor's degree in Engineering
€¢ 5 years€™ experience in refining, petrochemical, renewables and/or gas processing
€¢ 2 years people management experience
